Nurses and AHPs

About

EASL recognises the role of nurses and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in the care of patients with liver disease. Their expertise and close involvement across the patient journey are essential to delivering high quality, multidisciplinary care, supporting patients and their families, promoting education and self-management, and contributing to improved clinical outcomes. Through collaboration with other healthcare professionals, nurses and AHPs play a vital role in addressing the complex physical, psychological and social needs of people living with liver disease.

  • Collaborating with the EASL Office to build a sustainable membership program for nurses and AHPs
  • Sharing knowledge about evidence-based care based on current research and best practices relevant to nurses and AHPs within interprofessional collaboration.
