EASL actively collaborates with patient organisations, building strong partnerships to amplify the voices of those affected by liver diseases. Together, we raise awareness, advocate for better healthcare policies, and promote initiatives that improve liver health and support for patients and their families across Europe.

Goals
Partnerships between EASL and patient organisations and advocates aim to:
- Integrate the patient experience into EASL projects, programmes, and science
- Better understand what patients need from healthcare professionals
- Promote the prevention and early detection of liver conditions
Opportunities
Becoming a member of the Patient Synergies Network gives patient organisations the opportunity to:
- Participate in the EASL Congress with priority access to patient stands, track hub presentation slots, and speaker positions in public health sessions
- Contribute to public health programming and advocacy workplan
- Suggest and inspire joint initiatives and activities
Become a member
EASL is keen to join forces with umbrella patient organisations that serve Europe and represent people affected by issues related to the liver. We want to share expertise with patient organisations that are patient-focused, patient-driver, established, and transparent.
