Liver cancer is a major health problem and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is considered one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. It is associated with many liver diseases such as Hepatitis B, C and D, excessive alcohol intake, NASH and NAFLD. Recent findings will likely soon transform the way we diagnose liver cancer, screen at risk patients, and treat patients with primary liver cancer.

The Summit 2023 brought together all stakeholders engaged in tackling liver cancer, including clinicians, researchers, policy and public health specialists, nurses and allied health professionals, patient representatives, and industry professionals.

The programme of the Summit addressed important advances in the way we understand the pathogenesis of the two most common primary liver malignancies – hepatocellular and cholangiocellular carcinoma – and discuss diagnosis and treatment of patients who suffer from these primary liver tumours. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="80px"][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][easl_generic_button new_tab="true" color="red" size="medium" title="Read the abstract book" url="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/EASL_Liver_Cancer_Summit_2023-Abstract-book-FINAL_15.04.2023-b.pdf%22][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][easl_generic_button new_tab="true" color="red" size="medium" title="Browse the sessions" url="https://events-apps.easl.websitestage.co.uk/lcs2023/en-GB/pag/"][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][easl_generic_button new_tab="true" color="red" size="medium" title="Read the EASL Policy Statement" url="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/publication/easl-policy-statement-risk-based/%22][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner disable_element="yes"][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vc_empty_space height="20px"][vc_column_text visibility="hidden"]Receive comprehensive updates on the most important scientific, clinical, and translational aspects of liver cancer. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="10px"][vc_single_image image="38210" onclick="custom_link" img_link_target="_blank" img_over_linktarget="_blank" link="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/event/liver-cancer-summit-2023/registration/" img_over_link="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/event/liver-cancer-summit-2023/scientific-programme/%22][vc_empty_space height="20px"][vcex_column_side_border background_color="#db0b5b"][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vcex_column_side_border position="left" background_color="#db0b5b"][vc_empty_space height="20px"][vc_column_text visibility="hidden"]Meet and exchange with Key Opinion Leaders [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="10px"][vc_single_image image="37824" onclick="custom_link" img_link_target="_blank" img_over_linktarget="_blank" link="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/event/liver-cancer-summit-2023/scientific-programme/faculty/" img_over_link="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/event/liver-cancer-summit-2023/abstracts/%22][vc_empty_space height="60px"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner disable_element="yes"][vc_column_inner][vc_separator color="custom" border_width="2" accent_color="#db0b5b"][vc_empty_space height="20px"][vc_empty_space height="20px"][vc_column_text visibility="hidden"]Share your research boost your career development. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="30px"][vc_single_image image="37826" onclick="custom_link" img_link_target="_blank" img_over_linktarget="_blank" link="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/event/liver-cancer-summit-2023/scientific-programme/" img_over_link="https://easl.websitestage.co.uk/event/liver-cancer-summit-2023/scientific-programme/faculty/%22][vc_empty_space height="20px"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space height="30px"][vc_separator color="custom" border_width="2" accent_color="#db0b5b"][vc_empty_space height="80px"][vc_column_text]EASL Liver Cancer Summit 2023 has been assessed as compliant by EthicalMedTech
